Backpacking and Base CAMPING!

We are gearing up for our 6th annual backpacking trip to the mountains of southern Colorado. This past year we had a blast with the 7 people that joined us. We are excited to announce a new direction for the trip. For many backpacking might seem overwhelming, but it doesn't take hiking 5 miles into the wilderness to enjoy God's creation. This next year we will have two separate groups on the same trip. There will be the group who will backpacking into the mountains for 4 nights, and also a group that will stay at a campground closer to town. Our goal is to make this trip accessible to more people so that we can spend time in God’s creation, spend time in Christian community, and grow in our faith. The camp ground will have spots for RVs, and has a vaulted toilet that is available to the public. The cost for the trip will be $150 for those backpacking and $200 for those staying at the campground, this includes everything for the trip. There is scholarship available for those who can't afford that. We never want money to be the reason to miss out on trips like this. We have 8 slots available to students for backpacking. Non-refundable deposit of $50 is due March 2nd, or upon signing up after that date. Deadline for sign up will be April 20th. After signing up you will be contacted about paying the fee.
